English and Psychology Tuition

1:1 or small group tutoring sessions are available for Key Stage 3 English, GCSE English (English Language and/or English Literature), and GCSE psychology.

Tuition will be personalised based on student's needs and abilities. A range of strategies will be implemented to enhance student's understanding of key topics and help prepare them for examinations.

Specialist Dyslexia Tuition

Specialist dyslexia tuition is also offered which is tailored based on your child's needs. Sessions will be structured and cumulative, with multisensory approaches utilised. These sessions are for students who have struggled to make progress in literacy after other interventions have been tried. They are aimed at children with a Specific Learning Difficulty, such as dyslexia. Sessions will focus on literacy skills such as phonics, reading, writing and spelling, and also cognitive processing skills such as phonological skills and working memory.

Location and Timings

Tuition will take place at my home office based in Southport or, with the school's permission, at your child's school. Sessions last 1 hour.
